Direct 1:1 ABA Therapy
Our in-center ABA therapy involves direct ABA services provided by an ABA instructor. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervises all services. During our initial meeting, you will complete an intake questionnaire and discuss the goals you have for your child. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will then design an individualized program to help your child meet those goals. Progress towards the goals is tracked on a daily basis, and adjustments to the program will be made as needed. Direct 1:1 ABA therapy may include:
discrete trial training (DTT)
social skill training
reading comprehension
leisure skill training
play skill acquisition
everyday living skills (toothbrushing, toileting, etc.)
parent training
behavior management
assessments
Selective Eating Groups
Is your child a picky eater? For many children, eating new foods can be a challenge.
At the Kindle Center, we utilize scientifically researched methods to slowly
introduce new foods to your child in a fun and pleasant way. First we will
meet with you to determine what foods your child currently eats and what
foods you would like them to eat. Your child will then be placed into a
group of 2 to 6 children who will be learning to eat similar foods. Once
your child masters eating the food in the center, we will provide you with
the strategies to help your child succeed at home.
